:: Pilates Class Descriptions

Private Sessions: We work with you one-on-one.  At your initial session, we conduct a Health and Fitness Profile and introduce you to the fundamentals of Pilates.  The information we gather is kept on file and used to design and update your routine.

Duo Sessions: We work with you and a partner.  Before getting started with your partner, we request that you come alone for your initial session to complete a Health and Fitness Profile.  This information, along with progress notes, is kept on file and ensures that we meet your goals and personalize your routine.

Group Reformer Classes: You perform a variety of Pilates exercises on the Reformer with up to six participants. Our classes are mixed-level with active cueing from the instructor on how to modify exercises so that you work safely and effectively at your fitness level. Group reformer classes are held daily.

If you are a beginner, we require that you take our Introductory Package of 4 private sessions to learn the basics and ensure a positive experience in class. We conduct a Health & Fitness Profile to identify your needs so that we can address them in the group class.

“Power from the Center” Group Reformer Classes: You perform Pilates exercises that specifically target the core abdominal muscles. These are half-hour, fast-paced classes for experienced Pilates exercisers.
